Chapter 53 

Ethan was being a bit ton attentive 

Josephine tried each dish one by one, and surprisingly, the sweet and sour floors really hit the spot.

Josephine paused with her cutleries, then let out a disdainhil laugh. 

I was so obvious that he was trying to get her to join the cast of Shy High 

He would do amthing just to boost Nadine’s career. 

“Tell him I’m not available.” 

“Alright.” 

Mason immediately felt relieved. 

It was mich beiter for Josephine to ignore that jerk than to have anything to do with him! 

The next aftemoon, Josephine received a pile of audition videos from the production team, 

To her suprise, she found Nadme in one of the audition clips for a female role 

Josephine had never seen Nadine act before, so this was a first. 

Out of cunosity, she clicked on the video and watched it carefully. 

To be honest, it was really had 

It wasn’t noticeable when she saw her in person, but under the scrutiny of an HD camera, the aftereffects of Nadine’s nose job were glaringly obvious. Whenever she made an exagerated expression, the muscles on either side of her nose twisted out of shape. 

That was bad enough, but the real issue was her crying scene. It was like watching a three–year–old throwing a tantrum for milk. She pounded her chest, stomped her feet, and wailed uncontrollably. 

By the time she finished watching, Josephine felt like she had been mentally scared. Without a second thought, she hit “pass” 

Aside from Nadine’s video, she also came across Ethan’s video. 

This was also her first time watching an act. His performance, much like his personality, was reserved and delicate, with barely any exaggerated movements or 

expressions 

It was clear he lacked professional training and experience, but his entire performance was natural and smooth. There was no awlowardness, and no hesitation. Sh would give it at least an 85 out of 100. 

Even putting aside personal bias, he was undeniably a strong contender for the male lead, 

He had talent, wwwreness, and the determination to win over the director 

Ethan’s rise to stardom was practically set in stone 

Two days later, she seen the tinalized audition list to the casting team, instructing them to arrange the schedule and location: 

Meanwhile, she grabbed her camera and headed out for some location scouting 

The tum’s setting was quite simple it was just an ordinary house and some alleyways. 

Sunvalle happened to have an old town area with aged buildings and rundown streets. The moment Josephine stepped into the area, it felt like she had walked straight into the world of her movie. 

Excited, she began snapping photos non–stop. 

Just as she was fully immersed in her creative process, already envisioning how the scenes would 

look on camera, her phone suddenly cang, jolting her out of her
