Zayn was already clenching his fists so tightly they cracked audibly. But the word “divorced hit a nerve, and he swung a punch straight at George’s face. The blow landed squarely, sending George staggering to the floor, his expression frozen in shock and fear. 

Josephine was stunned too; she hadn’t expected Zayn to actually punch him. 

“George!” She rushed to help him up, her eyes blazing as she glared at Zayn. “I’m the one who told him to take those photos down. If you want to punch someone. punch me instead!”

could ever lay a hand on her. Even if he was angry, he couldn’t bring himself to scold her, let alone raise his hands. Ignoring Josephine, he grabbed George by the arm and yanked him aside, landing another punch. 

“Zayn!” Josephine was livid. Realizing her yelling wasn’t helping, she rushed forward to break them apart. “Let him go!” 

However, Zayn had no intention of stopping. He was determined to teach George a lesson. He couldn’t let Ethan think he was afraid of him, so he kept throwing punch after punch, showing no signs of stopping.

George’s eyes flickered, and he shouted dramatically, “Mr. Forbes, if you want to punch someone, punch me! Don’t you dare lay a finger on Ms. Dunn!” Then, he lunged headfirst at Zayn’s chest. The impact left the latter winded and shaky. His arm jerked, causing Josephine, who was already off–balance, to immediately topple to the floor.

Zayn felt his blood boil at George’s antics, which painted him in a bad light. But his anger subsided the moment he saw Josephine cradling her wrist, as though she was in pain.

Zayn was about to step forward when George suddenly yelled, “Run, Ms. Dunn! I’ll hold him off!”
