The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 1827

Sophia’s heart sank further as she thought about all this. She had changed so much for Marcus. Why didn't he like her? Why was he still so distant?

Where did she fall short?

Where did she go wrong compared to Ellinor?

Why?

Who could tell her why?

Sophia, who once firmly believed that she could move Marcus and make him fall in love with her over time, now had no hope for this idea.

But even so, she was unwilling to let go of the man she had worked so hard to keep by her side.

What was all that for then? Had she wasted these past three years?

Most importantly, she did not believe there was a better man than Marcus in this world. No one was more worthy of her than Marcus.

No one!

With a heart plagued by emotions of sadness, resentment, jealousy, anger, and stubbornness, Sophia got drunk at a bar alone and was finally taken back to the hotel by her father's men.

When she woke up, her head was pounding. It was past nine; she didn't remember sleeping for long. Why did she wake up so early? Anyway, she didn't have to make breakfast for Marcus anymore.

It seemed like she was woken up by some noise.

As she was thinking about this, her phone rang again.

Sophia scratched her messy hair, picked up her phone, and answered the call.
