Ellinor spotted a crowd huddled on the sidewalk from her car. She squinted and saw Bryan wrestling with some guy. Ida was standing on the sidelines, rubbing her temples in frustration.
"What in the world?" Ellinor hit the brakes instantly.
Bartlett, always a fan of neighborhood drama, had a gleam in his eyes. He followed Ellinor out of the car.
After pushing through the crowd, Ellinor shouted, “Enough!” The audience turned to her.
Bryan stopped and looked up at her, looking a little embarrassed. “Sis?”
Ida was surprised and walked over. “Boss, what brings you here?”
While talking, she glanced at Bartlett, standing next to Ellinor, and nodded.
“Just passing by. What’s going on? Why is this guy acting up?”
Ida adjusted her glasses. "The guy came over and started hitting on me. After I refused to give him my number, he got handsy. Bryan stepped in."
So, the guy was a creep.
Ellinor relaxed a bit. She examined Ida from head to toe. “Are you okay? Did he touch you?”
Ida shook her head. “No, Boss. I’m fine.”
Assured that Ida was unharmed, Ellinor walked over to Bryan. “Get up!”
Bryan looked annoyed. “Sis, this guy is a total creep. He has loads of inappropriate pictures of women on his phone. He deserved it!”
