The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 1567

Ellinor was silent. She was only focusing on her drive towards Blue River Estates.

Bartlett was always a chatterbox. He could go on and on, even when there was nothing to talk about.

"Ellinor, where were you earlier? At a friend's place?"

Ellinor, of course, had no intention of revealing Theo's appearance to outsiders. "Even if I told you, you wouldn’t know them."

Bartlett looked innocent. "I was just curious."

"Thanks for your concern." Ellinor responded. "But let's stick to business today, shall we?"

Bartlett sighed. "Ellinor, you really know how to shoot me down, don't you?"

Ellinor was indifferent. "It's not that I dislike you. I'm just not interested in you."

Bartlett groaned. "That's even worse! Ellinor, do you have to be so blunt? You're breaking my heart!"

Ellinor found him annoying. Her gaze darkened, and she warned, "Hold on!"

Before Bartlett could react, Ellinor floored it, and the car zoomed off.

By the time they arrived at their destination, Bartlett was almost green in the face.

Ellinor got out of the car as if nothing had happened and began surveying the large piece of land. "Which part belongs to Rex Enterprises?"

There was no response.
