Ellinor shot him a glance. "Just for fun. You used to be like this with me. Now it's my turn to tease you."
Marcus slightly furrowed his brows, remaining silent.
He didn't remember how he used to treat this young lady, so he couldn't respond.
At that moment, a cell phone rang. Ellinor picked it up and answered.
Because it was quiet on the balcony, even without the speakerphone on, Marcus could hear the man's voice on the other end of the line.
"Ellinor, where are you?"
Ellinor looked thoughtfully at Marcus before answering. "At a friend's place. What's up? You need something?"
Bartlett replied with a smirk. "Didn't you say last time that you wanted to check out Rex Enterprises’ property in Blue River Estates? Let's go. I can take you there now."
Ellinor glanced at her wristwatch. "Sure. Where should I meet you?"
"Where are you? I'll pick you up."
"No need. I'll meet you there."
"Alright, I'll send you the location."
"Okay."
After ending the call with Bartlett, Ellinor put her phone into her pocket, looking ready to leave.
Marcus watched her with mixed emotions. "Got a date?"
Ellinor stood up. "Something came up. I need to go. Be careful when you take a shower later, and take care of Adrian for me."
With that, Ellinor moved to the edge of the balcony and gracefully hopped over.
