Belinda feigned sympathy. "Byran, if you're really Ms. Gipson's boyfriend, then it looks like you’ve got competition. You might've been played."
Byran didn't give a damn about being played. Right now, he was just burning with jealousy. He completely ignored Belinda and angrily got out of the car.
Seeing this, the driver asked loudly, "Sir, why did you get off? You still need to get to school!"
Byran couldn't care less about school at this moment. All he wanted to do was find Ida, or else she might leave him.
He quickly walked up to Ida, pushed away the guy standing too close to her, and angrily asked, "Who is he? What were you guys doing?"
Ida was surprised at first by his sudden appearance and then looked a bit annoyed. "What are you doing here?"
Byran snapped, "If I didn't show up, what were you planning to do with this guy?"
Ida adjusted her gold-rimmed glasses, looking a bit helpless and annoyed.
The man Byran had pushed away didn't pick a fight with him. He looked at Ida with a puzzled yet elegant expression. "Ida, who is this young man?"
Ida apologized with a smile. "Sorry, he's a friend's younger brother and probably needs something from me. We might have to reschedule our meeting."
The man smiled at Ida. "Alright, I'll wait for your call then."
Ida nodded and waved goodbye casually.
The man's gaze was deep and full of emotions as he looked at Ida. He glanced at Byran before leaving, seeming to understand his feelings but not paying it much attention.
After watching the man leave, Byran spat out angrily, "You're seeing him again? What are you planning to do with him?"
