Andre playfully pinched his son's chubby cheeks, "No more sneaking sips of Mia's drinks, buddy. Sit on your little stool and have your formula. I'll get your shoes on, and then we can take Mia to school."
At the front of the Smith house, there was a tiny stool, just the right size for Henry. Too low for the older folks and too flimsy for adults, it was perfect for little Henry's cute bottom.
When Mia first brought the stool home for their son, the whole family gathered around, admiring its cuteness, especially the tiny backrest. Hansen, ever the doting grandfather, worried about Henry getting a cold tush in winter, so he added a soft cushion to keep it cozy. Henry loved it.
With two little ones around, the Smith home started filling up with kids' stuff—everything from toys to random knick-knacks—making it feel even more like a bustling family hub.
Henry sat on his stool, gripping his bottle, and kicked his little feet up for his parents to slip on his socks and shoes.
Once he was all set, Andre reached out, and Henry, knowing the routine, lifted his arms to be scooped into his dad's big embrace. From his giant's arms, he looked out at the vibrant world.
As the morning traffic picked up, Henry, seated in the back with his mom, knew better than to muck up the seats, so he took off his shoes.
Mia, accustomed to his antics, picked up his shoes, teasing, "Why are you such a little rascal, huh? It's okay to take your shoes off, but don't just toss them around, or you'll have mom on your case!"
Henry was unfazed.
Soon after they left, another lively family scene kicked off.
"We're late, Chad, come on, no time for breakfast, we're running behind!" Molly dashed out, only for Jade to rush back in, hurriedly gathering their sleepy son from his crib. "Almost forgot you, my little dragon. Let's go before your grandma fines me for being late."
Chad chuckled, shaking his head. He turned to grab a breakfast bag from the housekeeper, "Here's the young miss's breakfast."
