Ever since Gloria had been told off by Jennie in front o f the Shaw residence's door about ten days ago, the old Master Shaw had not seen his daughter up until now. It seemed as though it had been ages since they last saw one another, and Gloria's expression was slightly complicated to the point that it was hard to tell if it was hatred; while the old Master Shaw looked calm, as though he did not know Gloria, to the point that enraged even Marcus.

"Grandpa! How could you come here with Aunt Jennie and Lori to participate in Sabrina's intervention??"

The old Master Shaw was stunned at first, but then asked slowly, "Who? Whose intervention?"

Marcus did not answer the old Master Shaw's question. He sighed and looked over to Jennie and Lori.

"Aunt Jennie, if you want to stay at our house, you should just do so peacefully and no one would have chased you out. My grandpa, my parents, and I all see you as a part of our family. But with that considered, shouldn't you talk to my grandpa about this? Aunt Gloria is my aunt by blood!" He glared at Jennie furiously. How abominable she was, this Aunt Jennie o f his!

Jennie looked at him with a smile. "You have misunderstood me, Marcus. I'm only here as a guest

today. Besides, it's your Uncle Sean who invited your grandfather and I'm just here to keep him company. I haven't a clue as to what is going to happen in the Ford residence."

"Marcus, I know that I'm just staying in the Shaw residence as a guest, so my presence has somehow troubled you the entire time, hasn't it? Let's take today as an example. I wanted to get you to send us here today, but I thought about how busy you have been lately with your architectural firm because someone keeps taking leave, so I didn't have the heart to ask. I wanted you to drive us here to the Ford residence, but I knew how hard things had been for you, and so we got our bodyguards to send us here instead."
