Chapter Seventy Two

"Stop it okay? I know what I did was worse. It was inhumane ,but it was a misunderstanding from my side. I know it's all my mistake and to clear you, I'm not a bastard child, I'm the son of my dad's first wife. My so called mom planned all this to take revenge from me, and I was a fool to come in her talks." Zohan breaks down in front of them and sits on his knees.

Mushk moves towards them with Irtaza closely following them. The kids were immediately taken somewhere else by their worker.

Yasmin and Hana stood back, watching the scene refolding in front of them. Two small white feet enter Zohan's vision but stops just an inch before Mustafa.

Mushk clutches her brother's sleeve in her fist tightly. One side was her brother ,and the other side was her companion.Her knight in shining armor.

"You're lying." Zohan hears a small sweet whisper.

His eyes filled with tears, as he was longing to hear that sweet voice.

"He is not child, I know what he did was wrong but he too was a victim of my wife’s games. He committed a sin and he will be punished for it. I planned to take him back to London but before that I brought him here so that you can punish him the way you want. I know whatever happened with you, was not fair." Mr Quadri tearfully whispers, looking down in shame.

"A father should never bow down his head in shame because of his son and see because of your stupidity, look how many people are hurt." Mushk firmly tells him, her hand still clutching her brother's sleeve while the other hand was in Irtaza's tight grip.

Mushk looked at his brother and he knew what she was telling. He holds Zohan's collar and drags him up.

Zohan stood up on his feet, yet his eyes were glued to the floor, with tears and remorse filled in them.

"You can punish me however you want, but please forgive me, I truly loved you." Zohan painfully whispers.

"Who am I to punish you Zohan? I curse you that my god may punish you. He’ll take my revenge from you and if you're insinuating that I’ll come back to you…." Mushk stops when Irtaza's hand tightens around her waist, making her smile and she looks up giving him a reassuring nod.

"Then it’s not going to happen, I’m very happy without you. you were a test from the god, you were a dark cloud looming over me which has now passed away and I can see the sun shining on me." Mushk whispers the last words, looking at Irtaza with love.

Zohan sees all this and sadly smiles, he lost her! He lost her the day he raised his hands on her.

He should've known and not kept his hope alive which stated that she'll be back. Zohan falls in Mushk's feet , she jumps back.
