Chapter Sixty Nine

"Door...." Mushk whispers looking down, not able to look into his eyes.

A big grin breaks out on Irtaza's face seeing the red hue on her plump fluffy cheeks.

Oh, how badly he wanted to bite them!

Controlling his carnal desires he let her go, but not before kissing her forehead.

Mushk runs towards the bathroom to fix her appearance while Irtaza opens the door to see Hana standing there.

“I’m standing here since so long, where were you?” Hana angrily screeches, making him wince.

"I just told you before, we were taking rest." Irtaza deadpans at her but Hana was no fool. She knew what was going on and one look at Irtaza's hair confirmed her thoughts.

"Sure..... I believe that." Hana smirks at his brother, giving him a look that said "she-knew -everything."

"The dinner is ready, come quick." Wiggling her brows at him, she runs from there seeing his mood changing.

“I wonder who that man would be who's going to get chopped in her hands". Muttering, he gets inside the room to steal two or more kisses from his beloved green eyed beauty.

A slap resonated the whole room, Zohan stood there holding his cheek, his eyes filled with tears.

"What the hell have you done Zohan? Why?" His father roars in anger while he kept mum.

"You should have come to me, questioned me instead of lashing out at that poor girl. You lost a gem just because of one lie Zohan, one lie!" He angrily mutters, while Zohan was shocked at his fathers words.

Seeing his son so shocked, he continues.

"You're my first child Zohan, my first wife's child. You're not a bastard." He sadly mutters, seeing the realization drop on his son.

Zohan was officially doomed, he destroyed his own life just because of one misunderstanding.

"But... but.. tha-that day I heard mother..." His father cuts him off knowing what he was about to say.

"She is not your mother and she was lying. How could I not realize that she was taking her revenge. Your mother died giving birth to you and then I married her so that she can look after you, but I don't know why she did this." He angrily yells ,but Zohan was least affected by his yelling.

His mind was telling him only one thing, he lost his Mushk, the love of his life! He was a mere pawn in his so-called mother's game.

Realization dawns upon him as he breaks down in the middle of the room, sobs resonating. Feeling sad for his son, he bends down to take him in a tight hug.

While Zohan weeps in his fathers arms, he saw his step mother coming in. Getting up, he angrily marches towards her.

"Tell me! Why the hell did you do it? You knew I was standing outside the door that day. You destroyed my life, you snatched Mushk from me knowing very well what I'll do." Zohan screams at her.
