Stephan cocked a brow. "What's with that expression? We're husband and wife. Of course, we should repay Maurice's favor together."
It would be best to settle this debt so that no one owed anyone anything.
He emphasized the words "husband and wife", making his intention crystal clear.
Felicia caught on. She also knew how terrifyingly possessive he was. But instead of arguing, she simply chuckled. It was rare for Stephan to put aside his hostility toward Maurice and say something like this though his jealousy was unmistakable.
She laughed for a long while before tiptoeing up to press a kiss to Stephan's lips. "Alright, then we'll repay this debt together."
Stephan hummed in response. "We'll have the wedding once we return."
"Okay." Felicia smiled.
"And we'll get our marriage certificate." Stephan huffed.
"Okay," Felicia agreed to everything with a smile. Her quick answer took Stephan by surprise.
He leaned down, whispering another request into her ear in a deliberately lowered voice. He had expected her to blush, maybe even punch him. But to his surprise, Felicia simply smirked, looped her arms around his shoulders, and answered the same way, "Okay."
Her answer was enough to drive Stephan insane. The night grew heated.
That night, the two lovers lose themselves in their passion a dozen times.
