Charlotte picked up a piece of sausage and started chewing, not caring about her Mate's deep stare at her. He could stare at her all he wants but she doesn't care. She has lost her fucking patience and she is done with his paranoid system now!

Charlotte only focused on her food and drown her thoughts of revenge. This time she is fully bent on her revenge because she needs to make sure to settle with those people who hurt her.

After finishing her breakfast, she stood up from her seat and before going away, she turned to her mate, who is still staring at her.

"I am going to my parent's house today. I want to see my mother." She informed him and left without glancing at him for another second.

Charlotte could feel his deep gaze on her, boring her back. Yet, she didn't stop and walked away.

Augustus clenched his fists in a dark mood. He want to hold her in his arms and never let her go, but she seemed not ready to stake him anymore.

Mateo watched the couple and sighed inwardly. He dropped his beta side and patted Augustus's shoulder as a friend, "Augustus, I think you should talk to her calmly." He suggested.

Immediately His head turned to Mateo and glared at him. "Do you think I didn't try to do that!? She fucking doesn't listen to me!"

Mateo "....."

He already knows what dies calmness means for Augustus and sighed inwardly. "I know you did try. But, you kept on trying. I am sure, you don't want to lose your mate. Just need to maintain sole patience."

Augustus frowned, clenching his fists. Mateo felt he is going to be buried deep under the ground, but still, he tried for the last time. "Maybe, you can try a little different way? How about you ask her if she needs any help in the investigation? By helping her, you also could get close to her too."

This time, his expression called down a little as he thought his beta's words deeply. He is right kind of. He didn't offer to help her before.

"Good point," Augustus muttered and immediately rushed behind Charlotte.

On the other side, Charlotte was sitting in her favourite place. The verandah.

'What do you think we should do next?' Sierra asked her human form.

Charlotte leaned on her chair. 'Honestly, I don't know. I am sure now that Alice and Adrian did the scent replication. But, he acted innocent before me that night in the dark forest. I am just thinking, how to catch them red-handed.'

Sierra kept quiet for some time and then spoke. 'I guess, there is a way to it. Maybe the only one, but...'

'But what?' Charlotte frowned.

'Well, we are out of resources for our revenge. We need some power as I don't have any training yet. And the only person who can help us is Augustus, don't you think so?' She spoke slowly.

Even though Sierra's words made her angry but she knows she is right. To get Alice and Adrian, Charlotte needs to contain more power than them and only then she could be successful.

'Oh!' Suddenly, Sierra gasped.

Charlotte frowned, 'What happened?'

'He is here...' She murmured.

'Who?' Charlotte frowned more deeply.
