'Oh, my Goddess! You are a werewolf now!' Carina exclaimed and I smirked at her with a nod.

"Yeah, I am. My wolf woke up suddenly. It was late, but alright." I shrugged, noticing her pale face. "So, what are you doing here such a long time later?" I asked seating on the bed again.

"Come seat." I patted for her to seat beside me and she did.

Her every move was very careful.

"Oh, I just came to see you after hearing from Mateo." She replied and turned silent, looking around the room.

"What happened? Searching for something?" I asked, her behaviour seemed strange a bit.

"Huh!? No!" She immediately shook her head and smiled at me. "Of course, not. Oh, that day I bumped into Alice in the mall. She said you asked her to not come here to the mansion anymore. Is everything alright between you?" She asked.

Oh, so this is the point, huh? It's all about Alice. Right now, it feels like, she is here because of Alice.

However, I smiled only, shaking my head. "No, it wasn't like that. I just don't want to be too close to Alice and Adrian anymore. Augustus does not like me much with them. I want to be with Augustus as he is my mate, so I feel like it would be disrespectful toward him if I still meet too much with Alice and her brother."

"Oh..." Carina replied and then started talking about other things.

All the while we talked, there was no trace of strangeness still I felt something was different.

Her behaviour changed toward me and the change is too much to notice. Sierra also didn't like her much and smelled the strange vibe from her.

She even said that Carina has some evil plan. But, I suppressed that thought in my mind. Because, without knowing, I can't take any action or behave rudely. After all, she is my cousin.

Mom also stayed displeased for times and before Augustus Brought me here in the 'Dark Moon' She only hugged me and shed tears for me.

I know, in my mind Mom loves me a lot. But because of the situation and dad, she could not express it much. Maybe, Dad does too. After all, I am the only child of my parents. but never showed because I am the disgrace of the pack.

After I regained my life, I wanted to meet my parents as I was missing them a lot. But, to convince Augustus, I didn't go back.

Now, hearing about them, I felt sad and hurt. They never tried to contact me ever, as if I never existed. When I left the pack, Dad didn't even bother to come to say goodbye. I waited for him and had to leave when I couldn't meet him.

The only werewolf who accepted me is Augustus. And I am glad, even after years of misunderstanding, it was gone and I came close to him.
