The thought made me freeze in place as I felt inexplicably frustrated at this point. I should have informed him beforehand. Maybe, not in the call but I could have texted him.

However, it's not late yet, right? I still can text him.

I excused myself from the sibling duo and brought out my mobile and dialled Augustus's number.

I don't know if she did anything to provoke him, but I don't want to take any risk in this case. I am planning an act of revenge on these siblings and trying to gain Augustus's trust.

He already distrusts me a lot and I am suffering to keep my patience altogether. If he gets provoked again, then I am doomed along with my hard work.

I typed a text.

'Hey honey, I am sorry for letting you know a bit late. I am not home currently. I came out to visit their biotech company with Alice. They are having a function here and she insisted. Also, I can search for some antidote for myself as I really want to wake up the wolf. Even though you said you don't care about my wolf. I do care. As your mate, I want to be the best Luna for you and the pack. After recovering my wolf, I want to mark each other and be by your side for a lifetime.'

I typed and roamed my eyes on it once as I almost pressed the send button but stopped then.

I added, 'after coming here, Adrian hugged me but I immediately pushed him away from me. I don't know why, I just don't like anyone to hug nowadays as I only could think about you. You really messed up with my brain cells.'

'Anyways, I have to go now. See you soon at home. Bye.'

Saying, I pressed the send button. And then kept the phone in my pocket.

Honestly, I don't know why I informed him about the hug scene but I wanted to. I don't want to betray him anymore at any cost.

I felt a little guilty when I had to accept that bastard's hug, so I just accepted the trust and the way I feel. And frankly, I have fallen for Augustus. So, when I said I could only think of him, I never lied.

He is someone I am always waiting for to come to me now. After returning home, and solving this mess, I will confess my love to him.

I have so many plans for us.

I frowned, looking at the report of the kingdom. Some rouges have been noticed in the dark forest in a few days. They tried to attack my people.

This is a very serious issue and only because of this, I came to attend the pack meeting. All the Alpha from other packs were here. And as the Alpha king, they are always waiting for my final decision.

Honestly, I never wanted to come today, leaving Charlotte behind. Especially, when she groaned when I had to leave in the middle of our session. She was so grumpy.

I have promised her to come back soon and get her through it and also reward her for being a good girl.

I don't know what happened to her these days, she is always clinging to me. I am not complaining. I have always wanted this and I freaking love it. She never let me complain.
