No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 128

Noelle wasn't sure what major she would choose in the future; there were so many things she wanted to do.

"We'll talk about it when we get back," she said.

"Alright."

Walking beside Cedric, Noelle glanced down at his shadow, and her mood lifted considerably for some reason. The two returned to the room together.

Upon seeing the smile on her face, Frank felt increasingly annoyed. She used to smile at him like that in the past, but now she wouldn't even get angry at him.

He took a glass of wine and walked over to Cedric. "Here. A toast to you."

Cedric's expression remained indifferent as he took the glass. "I hope the game she's involved in becomes a huge success."

"Yes. That's what I hope, too, especially since she has shares in Liddell Corporation. She'll get dividends in the future."

Noelle found this a bit amusing. She did have shares on paper. But in her past life, those shares were all used to make amends to Xenia.

So, in this life, she had never thought about those shares; they had nothing to do with her.

Alfred sensed the off-putting tone and immediately added, "Ced is also a young achiever, developing in many areas. He's invested in some companies and will also receive dividends."

Would Liddell Corporation dare to belittle Cedric for being poor?

Frank took a sip of his wine and suddenly changed the subject. "Mr. Greene, you're young and accomplished. I wonder if you have a girlfriend?"

Everyone was caught off guard by the sudden shift in topic.

Noelle couldn't help but glance at Cedric. She remembered she had asked him about this before. He had said no.
