In Gorgeous Country, Mosley swaggered up to the door of a rental house. He knocked a few times.
"Hey, old lady! I brought your favorite barbecue ribs!"
After a few more knocks, there was still no response.
'What's going on… Is she not home?' Mosley thought.
Just as he was about to knock again, a neighbor walked over.
"Are you a relative of the person living here?" the neighbor asked.
"Yeah, I am. Why?" Mosley replied instinctively.
The neighbor, looking anxious but hopeful, asked, "Do you have a key or something? The old lady inside hasn't left her house in a month."
"A month?!" Mosley's eyes widened in disbelief, a terrifying thought creeping into his mind.
"Yes. I used to see her go out regularly, but I haven't seen her at all this past month. Did she move out?"
Mosley quickly responded, "Oh, yes. I just remembered. he moved out about a month ago."
"Oh, that's good. I thought..."
After bidding farewell to the neighbor, Mosley began to piece together what had happened. He slipped into the shadows and reappeared silently inside the house.
Sure enough, the house showed no signs of someone moving out. The worst had indeed happened.
As he entered the bedroom, he found the scene of a reincarnation ritual.
