The cocktail party in Gorgeous Country ended in silence among the shareholders. Theo and Nash walked straight out of the hall.
For now, it seemed impossible to identify the mole among them. At best, they managed to issue a warning and create a sense of crisis. They hoped it might make the mole behave more cautiously.
However, Nash knew this was probably a futile effort.
What else could they do? Their enemies were hidden in the shadows, making it nearly impossible to bring the battle into the open. Further investigation into the shareholders would need to continue.
On the car ride back, Nash stared intently at Theo with suspicion. Theo's actions earlier had seemed genuine, but Ronan had said he could not be cured. In that case, who was this Theo?
"Are you really Theo?" Nash asked warily.
"Of course, I am. Nash, what's gotten into you?" Theo replied hastily with a cheerful smile on his face. "What, don't you recognize your good buddy anymore?"
With a crash, Nash suddenly pinned Theo down.
"Speak! Who are you really?"
"Alright, alright, stop, Master Nash! It's me!" Theo's voice changed slightly as he pleaded.
"Mosley?!" Nash released him.
Mosley rubbed his neck, wincing in pain. "That hurt."
"Why are you here, Mosley?" Nash demanded.
"Miss me?"
Nash punched Mosley again. "Talk!"
"Alright, alright. Calm down, Master Nash," Mosley said, raising his hands in surrender. "What you're seeing is indeed Theo's body, but his soul has been sealed. I fled here and found you guys. Seeing my Master Nash in trouble, how could I not help?"
