The red wine gradually made its way to Jasper's stomach, causing a burning sensation to arise.
Even so, the alcohol was unable to suppress the annoyance he was feeling.
He had nearly lost control with Willow the second time.
This was not a good sign.
As the supreme leader of a major corporation, he ought to be able to resist any form of temptation, including women. If he could not, someone might find an opportunity to exploit his weakness and result in his imminent failure.
It seemed that he needed to continue his training.
Willow went to the restroom. She turned on the faucet and washed her face with cold water. The ice-cold sensation cooled her burning cheeks down.
She looked at her own reflection in the mirror. Tears glistened in her eyes, and even her red lips were slightly swollen and seemed to be in a darker shade of red than usual.
This was all thanks to Jasper for kissing her too hard earlier.
Her lips had become swollen because of him.
Men certainly were not to be messed with.
"Willow, are you alright?" Rachel asked in a worried tone from behind.
Willow turned around and saw Rachel, whose round cheeks were a little red from worrying.
She gently patted Rachel on the shoulder. "I'm fine. Don't worry."
"It's all my fault. If I hadn't spilled the wine, you wouldn't have had to clean Mr. Hughes' pants, and the misunderstanding wouldn't have happened…" Rachel pouted. She felt very guilty.
If Jasper had done anything to Willow in the room, it would have been Rachel's fault.
Rachel was terrified by the thought.
After hearing what Rachel said, Willow suddenly realized how the awkward situation and misunderstanding began.
