"Good afternoon, M-Mr. Hughes." Willow greeted Jasper with a polite smile.

She remained calm. As long as she did not feel awkward, someone else would.

Jasper glanced at his loafer that had been stepped on. He stared coldly at Willow. "Is this how you greet someone?"

It was then that Willow saw she had stepped on his loafer. There was a shoe print on it. She quickly retrieved a piece of cloth and kneeled down to wipe the loafer clean. "I'm sorry. It wasn't intentional. I'll wipe it clean."

Willow used the same piece of cloth she had used to wipe the table to wipe Jasper's loafer. Jasper frowned in disgust.

He stepped aside to avoid being touched by her before snapping at her angrily. "Get lost!"

"Alright." Willow grabbed her mop and ran out of the office.

If it weren't for her work, she wouldn't even want to be in his office.

He actually told her to get lost!

She couldn't have cared less!

Jasper's eyes grew dull while he watched Willow running out of the office.

In the afternoon, Rachel came to look for Willow when the latter was about to finish working.

"Willow, I left work early today. I came specifically to see you. Let's go shopping. We haven't done it for a long time." Rachel reached for Willow's arm, and the two began walking out of Hughes Corporation.

Willow did some calculations and concluded she still had 8,000 dollars. She also hadn't bought clothes for winter for the children. Hence, she agreed to go.

As soon as they walked out of Hughes Corporation, a silver Porsche stopped next to them.

Willow and Rachel thought they were standing in the car's way, and they stepped aside.

One of the windows was rolled down, and they saw a handsome man with almond-shaped eyes. There was a birthmark at the edge of one of his eyes.

The man smiled seductively. "Hey, Willow. You're leaving Hughes Corporation. Why isn't Jasper with you?"
