After all, Rachel did have feelings for Wyatt at one point. How could she have gotten over him so soon?
Even so, it would happen sooner or later.
Upon returning home, and as soon as the door was opened, the two felt a heart-warming sensation.
The four children were sprawled out on the foam cushions while they played with marbles. Each of them was having a good time, and laughter filled the house.
Lara, who was on the couch, was watching something on the television.
Willow could feel the warmth of the house. She couldn't help but smile. "Darlings, we're home," she said softly.
As soon as she said that, the children all turned around. Their dark eyes lit up in an instant. They were as bright as stars in the sky.
"Mommy! Aunt Rachel!" Hailey called out sweetly before she could even see them.
She was sprawled out on the cushions with her legs crossed. She wanted to get up, but she was plump and a little clumsy. As a result, she fell down. However, she quickly got back up and ran toward them.
After that, Julian opened his arms wide like a penguin and ran toward them too.
"Mommy, Aunt Rachel, you're home!" He called out.
Willow and Rachel squatted and hugged one child each.
Willow picked Hailey up and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "My baby is way too adorable."
"What about me?" Julian asked.
Rachel gently pinched his soft cheek. "You're adorable too."
"Hehe. Aunt Rachel, I like you the most." Julian chuckled and hugged Rachel. He pressed his face against hers.
Tristan and Lilith, who were both a little more introverted, remained seated on the cushions. Although they were still holding onto marbles, they fixed their gazes upon Willow and Rachel. They were greeting the two with their eyes.
