His Reluctant Luna novel Chapter 100

Olivia -

I stepped out of the cold shower and quickly dried myself off. I walked back into the bedroom, Zaiden had gone out to give me privacy.

It was the first time I had spent my night at his place. We hadn't done anything yet, and Zaiden would never force me until I was ready. But sleeping next to him was the most intimate we had ever been.

I found my clothes and dressed. I walked over to the window and looked out at the lightning sky. I opened it and a delicious smell of flowers wafted in my nostrils. I shut the window and walked over to the door. As I reached out to touch the doorknob, I almost screamed when the door suddenly opened.

"I'm sorry if I frightened you." Katherine reached out to touch my shaking arm.

"I came to see if you wanted to join us for breakfast?"

"Madam Luna would be there?"

"I think so? She is running all over the place, preparing for the celebrations."

I followed her out of the door and down a flight of stairs. When we walked outside, I was surprised to see coloured lights hanging around poles in the ground, along with several very long tables.

"This is for the celebrations tonight," Katherine explained.

Katherine led me to a table that was set apart from the others, and sitting there with her mate was Alice. I needed to talk to her. But I wasn't sure if she would believe me.

"Hey, sorry, I had to leave early for the training. Good to see you here." Zaiden called me from behind.

"Oh hi," I replied, then looked at Alice, who was shoving a spoon of scrambled eggs in her mate's mouths. They were so much in love.

A few women walked over to the table and placed many plates overloaded with different kinds of dishes in the centre of it.

I proceeded towards their table.

"Hey, Olivia, why don't you join us," Alice asked, smiling at me.

I nodded and sat down. Zaiden, Katherine and her mate followed. The usual chit-chat and gossip floated around me while I ate in silence. That dream and that man. Who was he?

"You have been picking at your food for a long time. Everything alright?" Alice asked.

"Madam Luna, can I talk to you in private?" I said and earned curious glances from everyone.

"Sure, I am anyway done, would you like to talk now? "

"Yes, please," I responded eagerly. She nodded at her mate, and we walked towards her office. It was the first time I had entered Luna's office. It was smaller than the Alpha's office, but it felt cosier. Pictures of the pack events, the Alpha and herself adorned the wall. Apart from her laptop and a few pictures of herself with Alpha on what looked like a beach, her desk was empty. Plush sofas occupied the left half of the room. The most eye-catching part of the room was a giant bouquet of seasonal flowers in an ornate vase that stood in the corner.

Alice sank into the sofa and gestured me to take a seat.

"So, tell me what's bothering you?"

I sat down near the chaise opposite her.

"Madam Luna, I don't know how to explain. I am having these weird dreams which become true. "

Alice narrowed her eyes.

"I saw Zaiden's wolf and a lake in my dream. The next day I saw them for real when he took me to that lake.....then last night I saw them... Those rogues who took me... seemed so real. Am I making sense?"

"Since when are you having visions? And what did you see?" Alice asked, her eyes were wide with curiosity.

"That's what Zaiden called them....visions. I saw those rogues had captured a man, and they were planning to catch someone using him as bait. He was a human, but I had never seen him before. I don't know what I saw has already happened or going to happen. But, I feel something bad is going on. I have never had such dreams before....until now."

Alice then blinked, she stood up then started pacing. I think she conversed with her mate through the link they have because soon, Alpha Lucian entered the office.

"Lucian, you heard her. What do you think?" She said.

Lucian took the seat opposite me, and I cowered automatically. Maybe it was the Alpha thing, I found him intimidating.

"What else did you see? Who all were there ?" He asked gently.

"I don't remember much, it was too dark. I had never seen that captive man before, but the other men were the same.

He exchanged glances with Alice.

"You know what it means?" He said.

"Yes, she is an oracle," Alice replied.

I looked at them, completely dumbfounded.

"Sorry, I am what?"

Alice smiled.

"You have the gift to see certain visions, Olivia. If you see anything again. Inform me immediately. "

"I will, madam Luna," I replied.
