He paused for a moment, and then stepped into the yard, casually asking, "Why did you come over on such a important festival?”

Norah turned her head at the sound of his voice, her eyes twinkling mischievously, she chirped, "I missed you!"

Xavier was so frustrated that his forehead veins throbbed, "Date? I will tell Jonathan to stop you coming here. He didn’t want you to come here in the first place!"

Norah stood up and walked over to him, "Alright, don't be mad, I was just kidding!"

Her doe-like eyes stared at him, and her voice carried a hint of coyness, making Xavier's heart ache. He kept silent without uttering a word.

"I came all the way see you on this holiday, and you're giving me a cold shoulder!" Norah said, looking at him innocently.

Xavier took a deep breath without showing any emotion, "You better go home now!"
