Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1641

Estelle murmured, "Do you not know whether they've reconciled?"

"I don’t know. I haven't seen him in these days. I’ve been quite busy," he replied.

With a sigh, Estelle said, "It seems like Emily and Charlie need some time to work things out."

Jonathan suggested, "How about you talk to Emily and convince her to tell Charlie about Kya?"

Estelle shook her head slowly, "Emily won't do that, especially since Charlie's mother has met Kya. If she finds out Kya is Charlie's kid, she might take Kya away from Emily. Emily won't take any risk."

Jonathan frowned, "Is Emily overthinking this?"

Estelle replied, "It's because Emily doesn't have any room for error. She has to be thorough when it comes to Kya."

Her gaze cooled and she added, "If on Thanksgiving, Emily and Kya won't return to the Sullivan family. You can understand the Sullivan family’s indifferent attitude towards her. Can we expect them to stand by Emily?"

If the Sullivans didn't cause trouble for Emily, Estelle believed that it showed they still had a bit of conscience.

Especially since Gina placed the burden of caring for Shawn entirely on Emily, and hadn't even visited her. Estelle found it unsettling, let alone how Emily felt!

If Simone favored Carmella, it was probably because Carmella grew up by her side, and she put all her love and effort into her. But what about Gina? Why was she equally biased?

Estelle didn't understand.

Jonathan lay down next to her and held her in his arms, comforting, "Perhaps the Sullivans' indifference makes Charlie cherish and love Emily even more. Some love is a response to a lack of it elsewhere."

Estelle nodded slowly and rested against his chest.

"Ask Emily tomorrow if she wants to come back to C City with us," Jonathan whispered, his voice was somewhat distracted, and he gently tilted Estelle's face toward him, planting a series of kisses from her eyes.

Estelle closed her eyes and whispered, "You know we have to wake up early tomorrow. Let me get some sleep tonight."
