Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1628

Emily lowered her head, feeling as though her entire being was trembling uncontrollably.

She never dared to hope that Charlie would fall in love with her!

His gentle murmurs and tender kisses seemed like a dream, making her want to immerse herself in it and never return to reality.

Charlie’s kisses grew deepened, and he coaxed her gently, “Tell me you love me. I will take care of you and Kya from now on. I won't let you down."

Emily's gripped his shirt tightly with both hands, still trembling uncontrollably, but slowly she pushed him away, "Charlie."

Her rejection made Charlie stop.

His gaze turned cooler as he looked at her and said, “Emily, this is my last time asking you. If you say you love me, I will spend the rest of my life with only you. If you refuse, I will never bother you again. I’ll set you free and never speak of this again!”

His voice was tight, almost pleading, “Take your time before you answer me, okay?”

Emily’s gaze pierced through Charlie's shoulder, looking out at the garden.

From the second floor, she could see the beautiful scenery in the garden. She even heard the laughter of Mrs. James and Kya's.

Her face felt cold, and her heart ached as if it had been painfully cut open with a knife. She held back the tears in her eyes, appearing more stubborn as her lips, just kissed by the man, parted to deliver an emotionless statement.

“Charlie, I don’t love you.”

Charlie’s face turned paled. He turned to look at her, feeling a heavy pain in his chest. He clenched his fists, and after a moment, he asked, “Have you thought it through?”

Emily pressed her lips and nodded, “I have!”

Charlie took a deep breath, his gaze filled with sadness, and he asked in hoarse voice, “Is there someone you love? Wilson?”
