Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1608

By the time they arrived at the Fairview Hotel, the day was almost dark.

As they entered the courtyard, a waiter led them in, passing through a crescent moon-shape gate, Magdalen was sitting in a pavilion across from them, waving to Estelle, "Ella, over here!"

Jonathan released Estelle's hand, and said softly, "Go and chat with Magdalen. I'm going over to the Sylvan Savories. I'll come find you later."

"Okay!" Estelle nodded.

"The pastries at the Fairview Hotel are excellent. I've arranged for you to try each one. If you like any, we can pack some in gift boxes for Grandpa." Jonathan told her gently, then he leaned down to kiss Estelle on the cheek, "The staff here will recommend their homemade plum wine, you can try a little, but just be cautious; it's strong. Don't get drunk."

The nearby waiter, noticing Jonathan's handsome appearance and elegant demeanor, couldn't help but look at Estelle with admiration.

Feeling awkward under the waiter's gaze, Estelle pushed Jonathan away, "I got it, I'm going to find Magdalen!"

"Go ahead!" Jonathan released her and watched her as walked away. Then, he turned towards Sylvan Savories.

Estelle crossed the winding wooden bridge. Magdalen's resplendent in her red dress, was sitting in a wicker chair, teasing her, "It's not like you're parting forever, why such long goodbyes?"

Estelle gracefully hopped onto a wooden pier, and leaned against a pillar, giving her a glance, "I like it!"

Jonathan had chosen a full-length dress for Estelle. At the moment, the gown cascaded from the ornate wooden pier. It created a graceful curve as it flowed with her leg’s movements. Coupled with her own naturally aloof demeanor, she presented an image of timeless beauty under the moonlight.

Magdalen took a grape into her mouth, sighing, "When I think back to how Jonathan used to be so arrogant, and now he's completely submissive to you, it's hard to believe it's the same person, Ella, you're amazing!"

Estelle turned to look at the reflections of the trees on the river surface, ignoring her teasing. She asked, "Why did you choose to meet here?"

"Not my idea. Do I look like someone who appreciates the finer things?" Magdalen laughed, pointing to the items on the wooden table, "My mom sent these for you, and for Old Mr. Jarvis. You can take them with you when you return to C City for Thanksgiving."

"Jonathan has bought plenty already, and there are also others' gifts. They are piled up in the warehouse like antiques." Estelle replied.
