Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1607

"Tonight?" Magdalen asked, holding a freesia in her hand, and a smile spread across her face. "Sure, see you tonight!"

"Where are you? I'll come to pick you up!" Kevin's voice was hearty and cheerful.

"I've gone back to my mother's place. Just send me the address, I'll drive myself."

"Alright then, I'll be waiting for you!"

"Ok, see you tonight!"

Magdalen hung up the call, tossed her phone onto the coffee table and continued arranging her flowers.

"Wasn't that Morrison?" Mrs. Sampson asked, casting a side glance at her.

"No, just a friend asked me out for drinks tonight." Magdalen replied casually.

"You should stop hanging around with these random guys and focus on Morrison. If you upset him, don't expect me to side with you!" Mrs. Sampson admonished.

Magdalen shot her a glance, "We're not married yet, so he's not your son-in-law. I am your biological daughter. You're going through menopause, not suffering from dementia. Remind yourself of that!"

"Morrison means more to me than a son-in-law, he's like a real son!" Mrs. Sampson retorted, holding her glass of juice and giving Magdalen a stern look. "He treats me better than you do!"

Magdalen took a deep breath and decided not to argue. She grabbed her phone and stepped outside to make another call.

Once the call connected, hearing Estelle's soothing voice improved her mood slightly. "Hey beautiful, how about we meet up tonight?"

Estelle was lounging on a hammock chair, resting on Jonathan's lap, lazily swinging back and forth under the setting sun. She replied in a relaxed tone, "Not tonight."

Magdalen sounded displeased, "Morrison doesn't have time for me, now you're ignoring me too?"

Estelle lazily opened her eyes and asked, "Where's Morrison?"
