When Magdalen received a call from Estelle to gather for a meet-up, she wanted to invite Morrison. However, he was busy with a meeting, so she drove to pick up Emily and Kya first.

Arriving at the 9th Mansion, Magdalen carried Kya into the private room. Charlie, Carson, and the others had already arrived, and they looked a bit surprised when they saw Emily walk in with Kya.

They had thought it was just going to be a small gathering, but they didn't expect Emily to come along.

"Hasn't Estelle arrived yet?" Magdalen looked around.

Carson walked over, chuckling, "Jonah is picking her up from the film studio, but there's a traffic jam. They'll be a bit late."

He stretched out his hand to pick up Kya. "Come play with me, I've got some tasty treats for you."

Kya saw Charlie and a look of pure joy spread across her face. But remembering Emily's words, she didn't run over to him as she usually did. Instead, she let Carson hold her.

Emily watched as Kya was carried away by Carson. When she turned to look at Charlie, their eyes met, and she quickly looked away.

"Emily!"

Amiee came over, "Sit over here!"

"Amiee?" Magdalen extended her hand, "I'm Magdalen, Estelle's friend. She often talks about you."

Mentioning Estelle softened Amiee's normally stern expression. She shook hands with Magdalen, "Ms. Sampson, I've heard so much about you!"

Magdalen laughed, "What exactly have you heard about me? That I'm rude and unreasonable?"

Amiee was taken aback, "Of course not!"

"Just kidding!" Magdalen flashed a bright smile and walked further into the room with Emily and Amiee.

Meanwhile, Carson had placed Kya next to Charlie and asked Andrew to grab some candies and pastries that kids usually like.

Charlie held Kya in his arms, his face softened, "Why didn't you call out to me?"
