Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1590

The next day, Emily saw a big bunch of fresh flowers on her desk first thing in the morning.

She picked up the attached card and read it, there was no name signed. Just as she was about to call the front desk to ask who sent it, her phone rang suddenly.

Emily answered, "Mr. Walton?"

Wilson replied with a laugh, "Do you like it? Isn't it nice to receive flowers in the morning? Makes your whole day, doesn't it?"

"You sent the flowers?" Emily frowned instinctively.

"Yes, you transferred me $100 yesterday. I didn't want to just take it without giving something in return. So, I used the leftover money to buy you flowers." Wilson said with a smile, "Don't get the wrong idea. I'm not trying to flirt with you."

Emily smiled, "There was no need!"

"It's just a bouquet, don't overthink it. Now, get to work!" Wilson's tone was gentle and considerate.

Emily said, "Alright, goodbye!"

After hanging up, Charlie and Gavin came over together. Gavin, drawn by the scent of the flowers, walked straight to Emily's desk and with an exaggerated laugh said, "What a big bunch of flowers!"

Emily didn't look at Charlie, she just said indifferently, "Mr. Gavin, do you like them? If you do, they're yours!"

"How could I take them? They were sent to you." Gavin leaned against the desk, laughing, "They're from Wilson of Horizon Enterprises, right?"

Emily said in surprise, "Mr. Gavin, how did you know?"

Gavin raised an eyebrow, "First a date, then flowers. Isn't that the usual routine for a guy chasing a girl? What's so surprising about that?"

Emily felt Charlie's icy gaze. She put the flowers aside and smiled, "Mr. Gavin, you might be barking up the wrong tree!"

"Maybe the reasons are different, but the approach is the same!" Gavin laughed, "Emily, you're too naive. I'm just trying to give you a heads up, keep your distance from Wilson!"

Charlie's face remained expressionless, he just walked straight to the executive office.

Emily thought for a moment and nodded seriously, "Thanks for the heads up, Mr. Gavin. I'll keep that in mind!"

"No problem!" Gavin said with a laugh, "I'm off to see Mr. James."
