Ian stood at the door, clad in a towel, taking the papers she handed over.

He turned around. "Want to come in for a bit?"

"No need."

Maja flatly refused, then urged, "I'm heading back to my room. If you find any issues, just hit me up on my cell. I've already cross-checked it with Mr. Judson. There should be no problems."

He couldn't help but call out to her.

Maja turned around to look at him.

"I just wanted to talk more with you. I've had Connie sent to the mental hospital."

But all he got in response was Maja's retreating back and the sharp sound of a closing door.

If he hadn't known she was just there, he could have mistaken it for a hallucination.
