“Please refrain from approaching Ms. Du any further. It has already been finalized that she will be separating from you. We request that you promptly sign the necessary documents to malize the divorce. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.” 

Nadine was taken aback when she heard the words “divorce acrement.” Her eyes widened, and she struggled to keep a straight face. 

She thought, “Well, well, Josephine, it seems you couldn’t hold on any longer. The day that I, Naline, become Mrs. Forbes is fast approaching.” 

The mere mention of the divorce agreement from Josephine had already sparked a flame of fury within Zayn. But now, as he listened to a stranger speak about it, his anger reached new heights. 

He seized Mason by his shirt collar and threatened, “It I hear you say those two words again, I’ll knock out all your teeth. Get out of here!” 

Mason was sent crashing to the ground with a powerful shove, making him realize just how terrifying Zayn’s strength truly was. He was grateful he didn’t make any sudden moves earlier, knowing that he would probably be covered in bruises by now. 

Under Zayn’s fierce gaze, Mason immediately chose to flee despite feeling intimated. In the car, Josephine quietly stared out of the window as tears streamed down her face.

Without speaking, Ethan reached into his pants pocket and pulled out a white silk handkerchief. He offered it to Josephine, who gave it a skeptical look. 

“Are you trying to use your glasses and phone clean–up cloth on my face?” she rasped, sounding irritated. 

Ethan unfolded the handkerchief and replied calmly, “This one is fresh. I always make sure to carry a couple with me when I’m out, using them like disposable

Mason continued to grumble, “Josepline, you’re too soft and laid–back. When she said that just now, you should have given her a good slap!” 

He was convinced that if he were to physically confront Zayn, Zayn would easily overpower him. However, if Joseplilne were to strike Zayn, Mason was certain that

Mason pulled out some pearls from his pocket and said desperately, “I managed to find most of them, but some are still missing. It’s not ideal but at least it’s better than that woman having them!”
