When Love Breaks (Josephine) novel Chapter 137

"Excuse me, please leave. You're not welcome here."

At Zayn's signal, a staff member walked forward and dragged the reporter out of the hotel.

Zayn put both hands on the table and said coldly, "Today is the press conference for Sky High. I hope everyone can focus on the movie and stop prying into my private life. I have a simple life with only three priorities—my family, my wife, and my company. Nothing else."

The moment he finished speaking, a few reporters that he had planted stood up immediately. "Mr. Forbes, how much money did you invest in this movie?"

"Initially, I have invested 300 million dollars. However, while the shooting went on, the production cost increased, so I added another 200 million. The final invested amount is estimated to be around 700 million dollars."

The reporters were stunned. "Aren't you afraid you wouldn't recover such a huge investment?"

Zayn's expression eased slightly. He said confidently, "Our goal is to create a blockbuster that's on par with Hillwood classics. I trust the audience's taste. There are overseas films with mediocre scripts that could rake in billions at the box office, largely due to their CGI. Why can't we do the same thing?

The reporter followed up, "Are you planning to invest heavily in CGI?"

"That's right!" Zayn nodded and said proudly, "We will hire the best CGI artists to create the best visual effects in the country. We will look to challenge Hillwood!"

On the hospital bed, Josephine and Ethan were sitting shoulder to shoulder, leaning against the headboard as they listened to Zayn's excited speech.

Suddenly, Josephine let out a laugh.

Zayn looked at her in confusion. "What's so funny?"

Josephine pointed at Zayn's face on the screen and said, "Whenever he speaks, he's never this excited. He's usually pretty reserved. But whenever he lies, his emotions will run high, just like that."

"Are you saying he's lying?"
