He then looked at Cecilia with a pained look.

He was a little sincere in his words though.
He was worried Christopher would take out his anger at the Yancey family after learning Cecilia had been involved with other men.
His words shocked everyone at the scene.
Everyone understood why they almost fought previously.
Jonathan’s words did not matter. Whether true or not, it seemed very tasteless of him to criticize his sister publicly.
