"That's not my style," said Zane.

Zane continued slowly, "If they're asking for investments, there must be something more important in their plan."

Not knowing what he meant, Eric stared blankly at Zane. Eric asked, "What is that?"

Zane smiled and said, "We must make sure that we have absolute control over the project. What if we give them the funds, but they make a terrible movie, claiming that it was filmed according to our requests, and then pocket all of our money? If the box office flops, we'll suffer huge losses."

Upon hearing Zane's words, Eric finally realized the potential threat. With a darkened expression, Eric said, "I'm sorry, Mr. Huxham. I didn't think too much into it."

"That's okay," Zane said nonchalantly.

Zane continued, "Since we have money, we can invest in the film. But we cannot let them take advantage of us. If we invest in it, we must have control over the contents of the film and how it should be produced. We can try to come to a mutual agreement with them.

"The least we expect is for the movie to be enjoyable."

Eric nodded and said, "Got it. I'll discuss it with them immediately."

"There's no hurry. Listen up," Zane said, gesturing for Eric to wait.

Confused, Eric asked, "Yes?"

Zane continued to analyze. He said, "Firstly, a movie production takes about three months to a year before the film is officially launched."

Eric couldn't understand why Zane brought that up, but he continued to listen quietly.
