Theo paused for a brief moment, turned his head towards her, a hint of complex emotions in his eyes, then pulled out his phone and handed it to her, "Take a look who I gave my contact information to!"
Since he willingly handed over his phone, she had every right to check it.
Without hesitation, Ellinor unlocked his phone screen.
Indeed, there was a newly added friend in his social media app. After the friend request was accepted, the person sent him numerous pictures and a link, but he hadn't responded to any of them.
Upon seeing the pictures and the ad link, Ellinor's face turned awkwardly red.
Theo asked in a chilly manner, "Did you see? That person is Belinda's classmate. She currently works at a high-end hotel that caters to newborns and new mothers. She recently heard from Belinda that you're pregnant, so she asked us if we would like to reserve their maternity hotel services. She said she could send me some photos of the place first. I thought you might need it later, so I agreed."
Ellinor stayed silent.
The man continued, slightly annoyed, "Although there's still some time before you give birth, I don't know a thing about childbirth. Is it wrong to want to learn ahead of time?"
Ellinor continued to remain silent. How was she supposed to know that girl was hustling for customers?
She just fidgeted with her fingers.
Seeing her like that, the man frowned, stretching out his hand to lift her chin, "Just because of this, you decided to ignore me and sit with some other guy?"
Ellinor pouted, "I thought..."
Theo huffed angrily, "You thought I was flirting with other girls?"
