"You!"
Dahlia's words were cut off as Waller hung up the phone abruptly, leaving Sienna looking at her with a worried expression.
"What are we going to do now? I've told you a million times not to deal with slippery characters like him, but you just wouldn't listen. Now you're caught in a vise. Nolan thinks you're not involved and went straight to suing Waller, but Waller is pinning it all on you. What are we going to do?"
She was pacing around so frantically that it made Dahlia's head spin.
"Can you please just come up with a solution instead of freaking out? What use are you all if you can't handle this little mess?"
With a sudden rage, she hurled her phone across the room, and everyone fell dead silent, not daring to breathe too loudly.
"Will you please come up with something? I'm doing this for the team. Without the spotlight, how am I supposed to support you all? We're all in this together, like crickets on the same boat. We should be united, pulling together as one, right?" Dahlia's face suddenly softened as she took Sienna's hand, "I'm sorry, Sienna. I'm just... I'm so stressed out. I'm worried about our future, aren't I? Come on, think of something, will you?"
Sienna couldn't help but want to pull her hand away from Dahlia's grip. Ever since she took this newcomer under her wing, she watched her become more and more high-strung.
She was more convinced than ever that Dahlia shouldn't have come back from abroad. Now, Dahlia wanted too much; a dancer should be focused on their art.
But Dahlia wasn't just fixated on Nolan; she also wanted to make a splash in the domestic scene and was using such despicable tactics to do so.
Perhaps some of her sweet talk was for their sake, but at the end of the day, it was all for herself. After all, she was the real beneficiary, and they were just pawns to be sacrificed.
