The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 2671

"I also have to thank my husband for his unwavering support through it all. I love you. Here's to the journey ahead as an actress. I'll keep pushing on; thanks to everyone!”

Balfour sat in the audience, a smile playing on his lips as he watched Ivy. He had been by her side every step of the way and knew exactly how much she had struggled to get here.

The award was more than just a trophy; it was an honor bestowed upon her for all the hard work she had put in.

Sure, without the bumps along the way, maybe her path could've been smoother. But after going through it all, who could say it wasn't meaningful?

Most importantly, no matter how many nasty things Ivy had faced, she had come through, and Balfour was eternally proud of her for that.

After stepping off the stage, Ivy's first instinct was to embrace Balfour, no longer caring about the sea of eyes upon them. She just wanted to be in the arms of the man she loved the most.

On stage, Ivy had managed to keep her cool, playing the part of a composed adult. But as soon as she was wrapped up in Balfour's warmth, the tears she had been holding back couldn't be contained any longer.

“Balfour, I really did it!”

Balfour instinctively kissed her forehead. “I know, and I'm so proud of you. You truly deserve it, my queen of the screen.”

It was only when the host's teasing voice came from the stage that Ivy, a bit embarrassed, let go of Balfour and quickly ushered him to sit down.

“Oh gosh, I got too excited; I totally forgot we're still on live TV!”

Balfour tenderly wiped away her tears, “What's the big deal? We're husband and wife; it's normal to show a little affection.”

What they hadn't noticed was that their appearance together on the red carpet, followed by that heartfelt embrace, had already caused quite a stir online.
