The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 2641

"Thank you." Ivy said with a grateful smile.

Once she was done with her makeup and had filled her belly with whatever Balfour had given her, Ivy cautiously peeked through the curtains. Her eyes widened at the sight of a sea of fans filling the venue. Her hand flew to her chest, in which her heart was pounding with excitement.

She turned to Balfour and asked with awe and disbelief, "Can you see that? Every single seat down there is filled with my fans!"

Ivy had only made arrangements for five thousand fans, knowing that her fan base wasn't massive enough to warrant more. But she was aware that many were eager to see her perform, and she wasn't about to let the chance to make a splash slip by - scoffers be damned.

Luckily, her rapport with her fans was a two-way street; they bolstered her confidence, and the tickets for the five thousand seats had sold out in minutes.

"Yes, they're all here for you. The venues are only going to get bigger from here on out, Ivy. You're headed for the grandest of stages." Balfour encouraged, his eyes gleaming with pride.

Initially, Balfour had felt possessive, not wanting Ivy to pour all her attention into her fans. But as he witnessed the throngs of strangers who'd come out of love for her, he understood why she was so willing to invest so much effort into this event. It was all about love.

His love for her extended to everything she was passionate about - her career, her dreams. He hoped to see her reach the pinnacle of her potential.

After ensuring that not a single fan was missing, Ivy took a deep breath. Showtime was fast approaching.

"Let's go, my queen." Balfour said and took Ivy's hand. He pressed a kiss onto the back of her hand and led her to the lift that would raise her onto the stage.

At that moment, the entire venue plunged into darkness. The previously noisy crowd fell silent, their breaths held in anticipation. They knew the person they'd been waiting for was about to make her entrance.
