The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 2326

Some actors, they get too cozy in their own digs, and the next thing you know, they can't slip back into character when they hit the set.

But Ivy was different. She could come back ready to roll at anytime.

First time out of the gate and she's knocking it out of the park. No wonder why.

So, even with a bunch of backers whispering in his ear to trade Ivy out for another face, Colton wouldn't dream of it.

Margot was puzzled. Ivy was lounging in her swanky villa, so why the sudden interest in a modest two-bed apartment?

"Of course, there's space. The director booked extra, just in case. Why? You're not seriously considering moving into the dorm, are you? Mr. Howard won't agree to that, I'm sure!"

A smirk played on Ivy's lips, "What's it to me what he thinks? Tell the director for me, would you? I’m moving in tomorrow. I'll just pack up and leave after we wrap."

Even Margot, with her head in the clouds, sensed some static between Balfour and Ivy.

But the thought of Ivy joining her in the dorms perked her right up.

"Deal! I'll give the director a shout first thing. We can make a real go of rehearsals in the evenings."

That cracked a smile on Ivy's face, "Thanks."

She hung up and conked out without another thought, only to find the pillow beside her ruffled come morning.

No clue when Balfour had crept back in, but it didn’t matter; she was bound for the dorms anyway.

Distance would keep her head clear from the drama.

Tiptoeing out of bed, Ivy barely missed Balfour breezing in, a chill clinging to him from outside.
