The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 2216

Chapter 2216

The girl muttered under her breath, a look of worry creasing her face. “The next scene is with Diana…”

Ivy chuckled-no wonder the junior staffer seemed so troubled.

She probably thought she would bear the brunt of Ivy’s ire, but Ivy was not like that. With at casual wave, she signaled the staffer to leave.

“Go ahead. I’ll be there in a moment.”

Seeing Ivy’s genuine lack of resentment, the staffer’s face lit up, and with a sigh of relief, she turned and left.

Despite being the most innocent, these crew members often bore the brunt of big-name actors’ tempers. Later, they might be appeased with some treats and reassurances that any mishaps were purely accidental.

But when such incidents piled up, delivering even slightly unpleasant news could make them jittery, fearful of igniting a star’s fury.

Usually, the temps got saddled with the task of being the bearers of bad news.

Ivy was not worried, though; she had confidence when it came to acting. It was her one true gift.

She did not believe that Diana getting a few extra lines would overshadow her talent.

Originally, the scene they were about to shoot was charged with intensity, a real showstopper.

But after the screenwriter’s subtle tweaks, Diana’s part seemed just a bit more substantial than Ivy’s. However, the screenwriter was not one to be easily swayed.

A script thought to be finalized was suddenly up for rewrites, and the screenwriter, not one to be trifled with, made some adjustments that made Diana’s character even less likable.

In the film, Aurora, though a supporting role, was a constant in the love story between. Valor and David.

Her friendship with Valor was also a central storyline.

If Diana had not caused such a fuss, she would have undoubtedly gained a fan base by the time the film hit theaters. Plus, her acting chops were relatively solid; a promising future was almost certain.

But her antics had soured the crew’s impression of her.

Colton certainly wouldn’t be passing any opportunities her way after this. Thus, many believed her actions were extremely foolish.

Diana, however, saw no fault in her actions.

Had she not leaked those videos, would the crew treat her with such reverence?

She knew the answer was a resounding no.

Now that her role was more prominent than Ivy’s, that was all that mattered.
