Then she bent down to scoop up her daughter, Layla, and asked, "Layla, sweetie, have you heard anything about your big brother, Baber, at preschool recently?"

Layla was not as oblivious as her brother, Adrian. She was perceptive and noticed many unusual details.

Upon hearing her mother's question, Layla became curious. "Mommy, how did you know about the rumors about Baber?"

Ellinor was right. Earlier, while checking the surveillance cameras, she heard that chubby little boy calling Baber an orphan and claiming that he was adopted. He also said that everyone at preschool knew about it, so she knew something was up.

Adrian and Layla were unaware of the incident where Baber had hit someone.

Layla glanced at Adrian, seeming to hesitate about whether to speak or not.

They keep saying that he's a discarded orphan. They also say his real mother is an immoral woman and that he carries a nasty virus, so everyone should stay away from him."
