The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 1744

Ellinor walked in, and her eyes fell on the child, who was being fawned over by his parents.

She had seen the boy before when she picked up Baber from school. He was the same age as Baber, yet taller and sturdier. He didn’t seem like the type to pick a fight.

But there he was, clearly injured.

After assessing the child, Ellinor looked up at his parents. "I'm sorry, I just got here, and I'm not quite sure what happened. I need to talk to my son first. If you could just give me a moment."

With that, she turned and headed towards Baber, who was standing alone in a corner.

The parents of the injured child were far from pleased with this. Their brows furrowed as they turned to the director.

"Just look at her attitude!" The father exclaimed, "Our child is injured, and she can't even get her son to apologize? She needs to 'talk' to him first?! What's there to talk about? Her son isn't the one who's hurt!”

The mother chimed in. “Exactly! Your school is supposed to interview the parents before enrolling their children, right? How are parents like her accepted? Your school seems no better than the regular kindergartens out there!”

The director, once again, tried to pacify them, asking them to wait.

Ellinor didn't pay attention to their complaints. Instead, she walked up to Baber and gently crouched down in front of him.
