The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 1702

Ellinor was left completely confused. "Fall from grace?"

Veronica crossed her arms and furrowed her brows. She leaned in closer and whispered, "Ellinor, do you think I'm blind? I can see what the marks on your neck are."

Marks on her neck? Ellinor was still confused until Veronica used her phone to take a picture of her, letting her see the hickeys on her neck.

Ellinor's face turned red in a split second. "Um... this is..."

Veronica put her hands on her hips. "Don't lie to me! I know what this is! Ellinor, how could you and Byran…"

Ellinor immediately retaliated with a playful punch. "Nonsense! You know what's going on between him and me, right?"

Veronica, rubbing her aching head, realized it couldn't be Byran.

Byran was Ellinor's brother. Then who could it be?

"Ellinor, my brother is back! You said you would find a way to bring him home, didn't you? Now is not the time for you to be falling for someone else."

Ellinor rubbed her temples, feeling slightly annoyed by Veronica’s accusations. "It's not what you think. Go get ready for your date, and don't worry about me."

She didn't have the heart to tell Veronica that she had seen her brother that morning. Even worse, the hickeys on her neck were his doing.

Veronica, with a heavy heart, began to plead for her brother. "Ellinor..."

Ellinor cut her off. "Shut up! If you keep nagging, you won't be going on your date today."
