The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 1632

"My name's Lea. About four years ago, my parents got into a fight. In her fury, my mom took me and left home. But we got into a car accident on the way and ended up in the hospital, in desperate need of a blood transfusion.

My mom's blood type is quite rare, and the hospital didn't have enough in stock. They urgently needed a donor.

That's when you showed up. You were just in time to donate blood and save my mom's life.

We later found out that you were pregnant at the time, but you still donated blood to my mom."

After Lea finished her story, everyone turned to look at Ellinor with a mix of respect, love, and concern.

Ellinor recalled the incident. At that time, she was low on blood, and when the nurse found out she was pregnant, she refused to draw any more. So, she had to ask Balfour for help, and he ended up donating some.

If no one had mentioned it, she would have forgotten all about it. But today, by some coincidence, this young girl was dining at the same restaurant.

"So it's you! Yes, I remember now. How's your mom doing?" She asked politely.

"Thanks to you, my mom's been doing great these past few years." Lea continued. "But she's always regretted not being able to find and thank the person who saved her life. But now, I've finally found you. She'll be so happy when she sees you."

Ellinor had no intention of meeting this girl's parents. She had merely done what she could at the time without expecting any recognition. She especially did not need it now.

"That's good to hear. But I won't be going to meet your mom."

"Why not? My parents are dining in this restaurant right now. Please meet them so they can properly thank you. It would also put their minds at ease." Lea pleaded with her.

Ellinor shook her head and said softly, "No need. Let them enjoy their meal. I won't disturb them."
