Sophia was overjoyed. “Dad, your presence will surely sort out all these issues. Then, as a family, we can return to M State. I can finally start preparing for my wedding with Marcus!”
“Sure, sweetie, just leave it to me!”
After hanging up the call with her father, Sophia felt a wave of relief.
Now that her father was personally dealing with the situation, no one would have the guts to act disloyal.
At that moment, the door to the master bedroom in the hotel closed gently. Marcus, still in his wheelchair, turned around to find Adrian awake, standing behind him as his big eyes blinked curiously at him.
“Sir, what were you sneakily watching?”
The child's eyes were filled with curiosity.
Marcus held a finger to his lips and whispered, “From now on, whether we're in public or private, you have to call me dad.”
Adrian blinked. “Oh... Is that okay? I thought you didn't like me calling you dad.”
Marcus squinted. “Hm? Why would you think that?”
Adrian pouted. “Because I'm not your biological son after all. I thought you wouldn’t be happy if another kid called you dad.”
After looking at this kid, who was a spitting image of Tristan, albeit with a different demeanor and personality, Marcus knew he was also his child.
Marcus reached out to gently ruffle Adrian's hair. “I'm happy when you call me dad.”
