After noticing Dominic's stunned expression, Chase gave the table a friendly rap. "Well? Don't believe my business card is legit?"
Dominic picked up the card, casting a skeptical glance at Chase's sharp Armani suit and the commanding air only a top executive could pull off.
"If you want me to believe who you say you are, get me a job at Crescent Society."
At Dominic's audacious demand, Chase laughed. "You've got some nerve, don't you?"
Dominic crossed his arms with a challenging grin on his face. "What's the matter? Can't do it? If you can't, you're a fake!"
Chase chuckled. "I don't need to prove anything to you, but seeing as you're a top graduate from a prestigious university, I wouldn't mind having a talent like you in our company."
Belinda gave Chase a surprised look after hearing this.
What was he thinking? This guy was all talk and no action. Why would Chase want someone like him?
Dominic was thrilled. He may not have won Belinda over, but securing a job at a top company was a bonus he hadn't expected.
"Mr. Larios, you indeed have an eye for talent. What position do you have in mind for me?"
Chase smirked. "You'll find out tomorrow. I promise I won't waste your skills."
Dominic pocketed Chase's business card as his face beamed. "Mr. Larios, it's a deal. I'll be at your company's HR department first thing tomorrow morning."
With that, he got up to leave, not wanting to disturb Mr. Larios and Belinda any longer.
After all, he was only attracted to Belinda for her looks. He didn't mind letting Mr. Larios have her.
