The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 1530

Ellinor squinted her eyes. "She's not nice to your dad either?"

Tristan answered honestly. "She's nice to my dad superficially, but if dad suggests going out for a walk or changing doctors for his leg treatment, that woman would always find an excuse to refuse."

Ellinor stared at the boy. "So, you don't consider her your mom?"

Tristan nodded with regret. "Dad doesn't remember the past. That woman says she's his wife, and I’m their child. But for some reason, I just really don’t like her and don’t want to call her mom.”

Ellinor gently ruffled the boy’s hair. “Well, she isn’t your mom, and you don’t have to call her mom.”

At this, Tristan lifted his head to look at Ellinor with some confusion. “Ellinor, how do you know she’s not my mom?”

Ellinor looked at the boy with a resolute gaze. “Because I am your mom!”

Tristan was genuinely taken aback, and his eyes were gleaming. “Really? Are you really my biological mom?”

Ellinor nodded affirmatively to the boy. “Why else would I mistake you for my son, Adrian, and bring you home? You two look so alike that I got confused.”

This news was undoubtedly a joy to Tristan, but he was still puzzled. “But why didn’t I live with you, Mom?”

Ellinor pulled the boy into her arms, gently explaining, “Because something unexpected happened three years ago, and I was forced to separate from you."

Tristan believed Ellinor and also believed his deep sense of intimacy with Ellinor. "So that means I don't have to leave you anymore, right?"
