The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 1414

Speak of the devil, and he shall appear.

A tall figure bolted out of the elevator.

"Theo, where on earth have you been?" Balfour asked, his face as rough as a winter storm.

After seeing the man, Balfour immediately stormed over, grabbed him by the collar, and growled. "You bastard! You've finally shown up."

Belinda also hurried over. "Uncle, Auntie is giving birth inside. You better get in there with her."

Without a second thought, Theo shrugged off Balfour's grip, quickly turned around, and pushed the door open to the birthing room.

A nurse quickly approached to stop him. "What do you think you're doing? There's a woman in labor in there. No outsiders allowed!"

"I'm the father of the child!" Theo exclaimed in a rush.

After hearing that he was the father, the nurse finally allowed him to pass. "The father? Why are you just arriving now? Hurry and get in there, but you need to change into sterile clothing before you can go near the mother."

Theo didn't have time to explain. He hastily went in, quickly took off his coat, put on the sterile suit and shoes, and then followed the nurse into the sterile operating room.

From the hallway, he could already hear Ellinor's weak moans. It seemed like she was out of strength.

His heart clenched as he quickly moved to her side, grabbed her feeble hand, and said in a deep voice, "Hang in there, sweetheart. Theo's here!"

Ellinor, covered in sweat, turned to look at him with disbelief in her eyes. Then she reached out and bit his arm, using all her remaining strength.

Despite the pain, Theo didn't even flinch. He knelt down beside her and whispered soothingly, "Don't worry, I'll be right here with you."
