Belinda shook her head, "Theo didn't say specifically. He just asked me to stay with you until he comes back, to prevent Veronica from getting on your nerves."

Ellinor responded with a faint "Oh."

At that moment, Veronica's slightly irked voice rang out, "Who would annoy her? I've already accepted her wholeheartedly."

After hearing Veronica's voice, Ellinor and Belinda turned their heads towards the door.
