Ch 30 Will to survive

3rd person pov

In the pack hospital the doctors were operating on Aleka's body

They had never seen something rather someone like her before

She had so many internal injuries but something in her blood healed all of them

Like some magic

But when they tested her blood samples it resembled a normal human's blood

It was like earlier her blood had magical properties but now there was nothing special

She didn't even had werewolf healing properties now.

Her brain was working for sure

But her body was too weak to move a muscle

They did her entire body scan

Everything would heal with time except her arms

They were having 3rd degree burns which would leave her scarred forever

But this was not it

The fire had burned her arm tissues and stopped all her muscle movement making her arms loose their purpose

They couldn't say if they will ever work properly because it could take days,months,years or forever for those tissues to work again.

As the doctors came out, their King was waiting impatiently for them

"Doctor is she alright!!"

"Don't worry your majesty she is fine but I need to talk to you about something,if you could please follow me to my office"

The doctor told Aaron everything

All about her healing and her arms hinderance

He patiently listened to everything the doctor said

Now when he knew his mate was fine he returned to his normal self

Sitting near her bed

Holding her now scarred hands in his

And looking at his angel

He was waiting to see those onyx coloured eyes stare at him.

Aleka's pov

"Ezra ....Ezra you there???"

I was feeling her pain after her final attack but I couldn't get her to respond

The only few voices I heard were that of her crying in pain

"Ezra are you alright?"

"Al..ke I .. I have .serve.d my purpose.. and ful..filled my promise,I am ...sorry ...but...I can't s..tay ... with ...you......I ... can ...no .....longer ...hold...on......"

"No Ezra dont say that! You have to hold on!! You can't leave me now!! I need you !!"

"Al..eka only...one ..of us ...can live.....you have a..lready paid for ...my sins....but not now....you deserve a ha..py life ,you deserve....Aaron ....and ...today ....I break....you from me....today ....I g..ive ..your freedom to live .... a normal life......now I will take my leave ...I am sorry I couldn't support you like when you needed me ..but you will.....be better with me not on your side......Bye ....Aleka.......the cloud of darkness is lifted now and your future is now filled with only bright light.............."

Ezra wait you can't leave me like that

We are in this together you just can't go please!!

"Bye Aleka ...also give my share of love to Aaron and Alistaire (aaron's wolf)..."

With this the only thing that followed was silence

I called her again and again but was only replied by her silence

Ezra left my body

It felt like a strong power left me

Even after all the evil things she did

She was still my angel,my saviour

Her intentions were never wrong , it was just lack of control and skills

And today she overcame this weakness by controlling her power all along and not the other way round

The thunder wolf at last bid her farewell

I was always ashamed to acknowledge her as my wolf but today she filled my heart with pride

I was proud to say that indeed the thunder wolf was my wolf

The saviour of world was my Ezra

And even if she left me

Even if the thunder wolf bid her farewell

She will forever live in our hearts

Her heroic actions will always inspire thousands of generations to come

Her selflessness will always pave the way for goodness in this world.

Now as Ezra left my body I couldn't recover ,I was now just a mere human

I tried moving my body but I was drained of energy.

With the little energy left I mindlinked Aaron and after that my mind and body both gave out

3 days later

I woke up to feel someone holding my hand

When I looked up I saw those blue eyes staring at me with concern and happiness

"Aaron.."

A smile appeared on his lips on hearing his name from my lips

He didn't say anything but continued to shower my knuckles with feather like kisses

I smiled back on seeing him

I tried to hold his face in my hands but when I tried to move my arm it was like they didn't had any sensation

I could see his kisses but couldn't feel them

All my happiness vanishes when I saw my hands and when my vision shifted towards my arms I felt disgusted
